How much does it hold? I'm half-considering getting it, but hearing that it held a good amount (say, an outfit or so) would tip me over the edge.

The carpetbag is great! When Addy and I went to NY last April, she carried her nightgown, her extra stockings and a book to read. I keep Kirsten's hair ribbons in it and extra socks she doesn't wear.
